Tish Valentin-Barrentine has been creating decoupage works of art for over 12 years.  In her hectic corporate life, Ms. Barrentine used decoupage as a means of creative release.

After retiring to the Carolinas from the Washington, DC area, she settled into a life of travel and outdoor actvities.  She longed to go back to work but did not look forward to the frenetic pace of corporate life so she transitioned her avocation into her vocation.

Ms. Barrentine designs unique one-of-a-kind functional art, as well as commissioned pieces.  These designs range from decorative plates, keepsake boxes, home accessories and memory plates to name a few.  She spent six months defining her design style and lining up her supply resources, as well as perfecting her art before selling her work. "I've always been detail oriented so every piece I create is given full attention to design and quality control.  I never deliver a piece that does not meet those standards".
